Evaluations of mentoring programmes elsewhere have shown that, over time, those staff who have been mentored are better socialised in their organisations and workgroups than those who have not been mentored. They also have improved career outcomes and job satisfaction.

At the end of the first year of your mentoring programme we would expect your outcomes to be positive too. It is, therefore, important to communicate the outcomes of the evaluation to the key stakeholders to ensure the continued success of your scheme.
