The nature of mentoring
Mentoring is dynamic.
Such dynamism is happening within post-compulsory education where the only certainty is change. The Skills for Life Agenda is one of several government priorities to be met by the
post-compulsory education and training sector that will bring about improvements in learning for adults and its subsequent improvements in the economy as a result of that learning.
For some, acting as a mentor provides them with a new vigour for their job. It encourages them to 'think outside the box' and look at their work in a new light.
Some find it quite inspirational - perhaps because:
Whatever the reason, there are tangible benefits for both the mentor and the mentee.
